Midshipman Portraits

I make timeless portraits of Midshipmen on "the yard" at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. I coordinate closely with Midshipmen to accommodate their busy schedules and I make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. We have fun! I know all the best locations on the yard and even what time of day various architecture looks best in portraits. As a bonus, I also specialize in sunrise and sunset portraiture! Perfect for capturing the essence of how it feels to be by the water so you can remember your time in beautiful Annapolis. The Midshipmen always tell me how fun and easy I make their sessions, while the parents say the hard part is choosing their favorite photos to print!

My goal is to create artful, dramatically lit portraiture that will be hanging on a wall in 20 + years for loved ones to recall fondly and future generations to be inspired by.
